Qualifications:
• An overall working knowledge and understanding of design patterns and OOP is non-negotiable.
• 4 to 6 years of .NET experience is necessary, with the majority being on new development.
• Proficiency with C# 2.0 is a minimum, with 3.0 / 3.5 being highly preferred.
• Backend experience with SQL Server 2005 databases and SQL development is necessary, with SQL 2008 being a plus.
• You must be familiar and able to work seamlessly through all phases of the software development life cycle, and experience in an Agile environment is highly desired.
• Experience with SOA and Web Services
• Experience converting VB6 to .Net
Education:
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering (required)

Cold Fusion Developer

Location: Dallas, Tx.  Salary: 75-85K+ 


The ColdFusion developer is responsible for the design and implementation of solutions to satisfy business requirements and systems requirements such as scalability, re-usability, maintainability, and supportability.  Develops specifications for highly complex software programming applications and modifies/maintains the existing software. Develops, modifies and maintains applications that may be customized or standardized. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

·        Designs/codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools (DW, Eclipse, etc.)

·        Maintains and modifies existing applications on their own as well as under direction from senior staff members.

·        Performs maintenance programming for existing version. Performs custom programming at customer request

·        Assumes responsibility for ongoing data architecture for product

·        Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·        Strong knowledge of CF8 including new AJAX and query functionality.

·        Strong knowledge of HTML/JS/DHTML/CSS/AJAX.

·        Strong knowledge of the CF8 application server and the marriage with IIS5-7.

·        Strong SQL skills.

·        Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members.

·        Ability to interface well with Professional Service staff and other non-technical members of the organization.

·        Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.

·        Knowledge relating to the area in which analysis and coding is performed.

Qualification/Requirements:    Experience with the following:

·        Minimum five (5) years experience with CF7-8.

·        Minimum three (3) years experience as Database Developer (NOT Administrator) working with SQL 2000/2005 (experience with equivalent products may be considered).

·        Minimum five (5) years with dynamic scripting languages.

·        Minimum five (5) years with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX and DHTML preferred.

·        Some experience with OOP preferred.

 Preferred skills:

·        Flex 3 builder and production.

·        EXTJS

·        CF Reporting

·        COM and .NET object instantiation/integration.

This position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to focus on delivering high-quality results on schedule.  A good attitude is important, along with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.  Code samples and aptitude test will be required.

Education:  College degree (BS) in Computer Science or CS minor (focus)
